ABOUT ARCATA
An investor relations firm built to make compliance easier.
Why we exist
Arcata Partners is an investor relations firm serving municipal bond issuers, from continuing disclosure filings to investor communications. We were founded on a simple observation: most disclosure failures aren’t failures of intent, they’re failures of tracking. Borrower obligations are scattered across hundreds of pages of financing documents, and managed by people whose real job is running the organization.
We built our practice to make ongoing compliance easier. Every engagement begins with a document-level extraction of your ongoing obligations: the work that continues after the financing is done. We understand what is owed, to whom, by when, under which document. Our team has spent their careers in municipal bond disclosure, credit analysis, and investor relations. The result is an investor relations process that you can trust, and a record of on-time, properly filed disclosure you can show your board, your underwriter, and the market.
We are independent — not a bank, trustee, or broker-dealer — and our only role in your financing is making sure your disclosure undertakings are met.
How we work
Verbatim, not vibes
Every obligation we track is tied to the exact language of your documents: section, page, and phrase. When a deadline is ambiguous, we tell you, rather than guessing on your behalf.
Proof over promises
Every filing produces a confirmation record. Every action is logged. If an auditor, an underwriter, or your board ever asks whether something was filed, the answer is a document, not a recollection.
Technology with a reviewer
Our platform automates extraction, reminders, and filing mechanics. People who read bond documents for a living review the output. Neither works alone.
“The only remedy for failure to file is to file. Our job is to make sure it never comes to that.”
